DESCRIPTION:6-Day Tantra Immersion Level 1 Retreat – onsite at Amrita Integral Yoga Resort\n\n\n\nAn illuminative introduction into the essence of the Tantra Yoga spiritual system\n\n\n\n\n\nIn this 6-day intensive course we’ll undertake a deep and systematic study and practice of Tantra Yoga. Through inspiring lectures\, deep Hatha Yoga sessions\, guided meditations\, and tantric exercises. We’ll focus on elevating our consciousness and experiencing life from a fresh\, profound perspective. We’ll learn how to walk the path of Tantra and Yoga from the depth and richness of the heart to the heights of spiritual development. \n\n\n\nThis first module of Tantra Immersion includes:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is Tantra? Principles of Tantra\n\n\n\nThe secret law of resonance and how to apply it\n\n\n\nThe importance of relaxation and awareness practice in tantra\n\n\n\nThe principle of polarity – the yin-yang of the universe\n\n\n\nShiva as the divine masculine principle\n\n\n\nShakti as the divine feminine principle and the special role of Her in Tantra\n\n\n\nIntroduction to tantric sensuality\n\n\n\nMeditations with music designed to access distinct states\n\n\n\nMeditations in silence designed to quiet the mind and induce strong mental focus\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpecific yoga body postures and exercises done in the tantric spirit\, facilitating a direct experience of the hidden potentials of the body\n\n\n\nPrinciples of Hatha Yoga: practicing yoga body postures (asana-s) correctly and the special role of asana-s in Tantra\n\n\n\nSessions of questions and answers with discussion time for the group\n\n\n\nReflecting moments to give an inner space for your own growth and observing the steps you are already taking throughout the course\, evaluation and planning of future practice\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCompleting the Tantra Immersion Level 1 gives you the possibility to continue with Tantra Immersion Level 2. In 2018\, Tantra became the heart of their spiritual journey – opening the door to systematical practice\, continuous transformation\, and a life centered in love\, devotion\, compassion\, and aspiration. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nUriel Yariv\n\n\n\nUriel is a Tantra and Yoga teacher at Mahasiddha Yoga\, and for the past 20 years he has devoted himself to the path of Tantra-Yoga with great enthusiasm. He has spent more than 2 years in silent retreats\, practicing meditation and yoga passionately. Uriel cofounded Mahasiddha Yoga and the Integral Yoga Center Amrita in Thailand. He has a master degree in clinical psychology and has written many articles about spirituality and psychology. Uriel shares his love of spirituality\, meditation and Tantra in a clear and tangible way\, and is an inspiration to many around him. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIris Smeets\n\n\n\nIris has over 8 years of experience guiding women’s groups\, dance courses\, and Tantra practices. With a background in philosophy and peacebuilding\, she has been a dedicated teacher and practitioner of the Tantra Yoga path\, sharing her passion for art\, love\, and beauty. After teaching in Denmark\, she has recently brought her wisdom to Chiang Mai as a teacher at Mahasiddha Yoga. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is included?\n\n\n\nThe price includes the course fee\, accommodation\, 3 vegetarian meals per day and transport to and from Chiang Mai city centre on the starting and ending date. The meals included in the first day are dinner\, and on the last day breakfast and lunch. All rooms are ensuite (with private bathrooms)\, have AC and hot water in the shower.
