Throughout history, faith has served as a bridge to a spiritual land abundant with peace, love, confidence, fearlessness, courage, freedom, perfection, wisdom, and intuition. This spiritual land is accessible to those who possess great faith.
These individuals, masters and saints of all traditions – Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Tantric, and Yogis, have been able to access this abundant land and they came back with peace of mind and love for others.
In this article, we will talk about how to access this land ourselves, and how to amplify our faith.
Understanding Obstacles and Transforming Beliefs
How do we amplify faith? What stands between us and total faith? The answer lies in understanding obstacles. All our actions are rooted in our thoughts, our emotions, and our attitudes. All our choices come from there. We all have core beliefs about life, God, the universe, and people. These core beliefs shape our attitudes, emotions, and eventually all our actions and life circumstances.
If our core belief is that life sucks, then when we come to an actual situation where there is a possibility to resonate with something that sucks, we will be attracted to that. And it will be bad. If we have the core belief that every challenge in life makes us stronger it becomes a reality for us.
With this core belief, there is a greater good behind everything. With faith in goodness, when a crisis comes, we feel resourceful, enthusiastic, persevering, and enduring. Having this positive, dynamic, can-do attitude, we will come out of crisis strengthened.
Faith is Pure and Divine
Faith is a particular form of belief that is pure and divine. There is a belief in a divine idea or a divine reality. Faith serves as a cable that connects us to the universal resources that are always there.
This land of inner abundance is there all the time. But wrong beliefs, such as “there is no hope, the world is indifferent, there is no meaning to anything”, act as doubts that block this universal abundance from nourishing us. We may take such limiting beliefs from parents, society, or social media.
The good news is that such beliefs and the system of faith can change fundamentally, they are erasable. If we change these beliefs, the entire structure of the mind, our attitudes, our emotions, and our actions will change as well.
Instead of having to clean up after we do meaningless actions led by thoughts and stupid emotions, because we have one fundamental wrong belief and one lack of faith, why don’t we go straight to the core?
Awakening Faith
Changing that belief and awakening faith can change the whole emotional system. The whole attitude to life will become different. And from that, huge inner resources and a very harmonious life become our reality.
People in certain life situations, such as a near-death experience, the death of a loved one, a business collapse, a world collapse, or a war, can be shaken in their structure of belief and faith. For some people, their biggest traumas turned into their biggest triumphs because they changed something in their belief system and they became glorious.
From Doubt to Divine Connection
For instance, Nelson Mandela was quite violent when he entered jail. But after 27 years, he came out with peace of mind. Jail gave him faith. Many people in very difficult conditions, or in glorious conditions, a very big triumph, experience an opening to a new faith, a disappearing of some wrong beliefs and doubts.
This mind-blowing experience may then lead one to feel that it was all worth it. All the pain or the disease a person went through, the breakup the person went through, all those difficulties; it was all worth it. Because now this person has faith and their doubts are gone.
The Battle of Beliefs
Many of us harbour limiting beliefs that prevent our spiritual growth. If we believe we are separate from the Whole, living in a hostile universe, we become self-protective and fearful. Our minds become programmed for survival, and we watch violence unfold on screens, reinforcing our inner turmoil.
But what if we shift our perspective? What if we have faith in a higher power that cares for us, knows us intimately, and orchestrates the entire universe? When we truly believe in this divine connection, fear dissipates. Faith becomes the bridge between our limited self and the universal reality. Even the absence of doubt can be the bridge.
The Size of Your God
The magnitude of our worries reflects the size of our faith. A small God leads to excessive worry, while a big God dispels fear. Faith isn’t just a fleeting comfort during crises; it’s a constant state of peace. When we doubt, we block the flow of universal gifts — abundance, love, and wisdom — that await us.
Imagine the universe as a generous sender, showering us with gifts daily. We often ignore the letters because we doubt their existence. We live in scarcity, fearing lack. However, faith reconnects us to the cosmic router. It provides a perfect Wi-Fi signal for downloading love, peace, and meaning.
The Cure for Pain
When pain strikes, we seek distractions — screens, food, praise. True healing lies in faith. It’s not about praying or meditating a little during difficult times; it’s about unwavering trust. Faith fills our hearts with love, guides meaningful actions, and transforms our lives.
It is like you are working 40 hours a week to make $15 an hour. Then your grandfather who loves you and in whose existence you don’t believe starts sending you $50,000 a day. When the paycheck arrives in the mail, it says, “This is from your grandfather”. However, you don’t believe in him and you never open the envelopes.
Examine your beliefs. Shift your doubts. Let faith be your cure. It’s time to upgrade from fear and doubts to an infinite abundance of all the universal gifts. It is everyone’s birthright.
