Sharing Your Value with Confidence and Generosity - Mahasiddha Yoga

In this article, we will speak about how to cultivate inner value, alongside confidence and generosity. This allows you to continuously grow and to share your unique skills with the world.

The Value of Inner Growth and Sharing Your Skills

People are willing to pay for what they believe has value. The key is to first develop a sense of inner value within yourself. Whether you are a psychologist, an artist, or in any other field, internal growth is the foundation of your skill.

If you’re a psychologist, for example, you can cultivate inner peace, confidence, and calm. You can awaken inner purity and healing inside. For an artist, you can cultivate creativity and mastery in your craft. The next step would be that you can facilitate this for others.

Transmitting Inner Value to Others

Once you’ve developed a sense of inner value, you start learning how to transmit it outward so that others can benefit from it. As a psychologist, you don’t just cultivate peace within; you create a space where others can also experience that peace. The same applies to any skill—once you’ve mastered it internally, you need to share it in a way that others find enriching.

Often, you begin by offering this value for free, testing the waters to see how others respond. If people gain something meaningful from your offering, the demand will grow, and eventually, people will be willing to pay for it. The real value lies in what they receive from your offering and how it enhances their lives.

Continuous Growth: The Lifelong Journey

At the same time, it`s important to understand that the process of gaining skills and refining them never ends. Every quality, be it love, peace, creativity, or intelligence, has infinite potential. There is no point at which you are “skilled enough.”

In fact, the moment you stop improving, you begin to stagnate. Life, much like the universe, is always evolving. To remain vibrant and connected with life, you must continue to grow in your purpose and never lose your enthusiasm.

This is a core principle in our global yoga school. A teacher cannot remain a teacher if they are no longer a student. Those of us who teach are still learning, constantly improving our understanding of tantra and yoga.

In an authentic spiritual system, transformation and growth are essential. If a teacher stops transforming, they will naturally phase out of their role, as life in tantra is always marked by continuous evolution.

Knowing When to Share Your Gifts

There comes a time when you feel ready to share what you’ve learned. Recognising this moment requires a blend of confidence and generosity. Some people hold back because they lack the confidence to share their skills, while others may hesitate due to a lack of generosity. Both qualities are necessary.

Build a healthy type of self-confidence, one that comes from the heart. At the same time, cultivate generosity—an openness to share yourself with others. Being self-aware and seeking feedback from mentors or guides will help you hit that spot from where you start to unfold your purpose into life and to offer your value to the world.
